There are generally two ways to hatch chicks, one is artificial hatching and the other is machine hatching. Today we mainly talk about artificial incubation.
Common methods of artificial incubation
Kang temperature incubation, greenhouse incubation, these two hatching methods are the most common hatching artificial hatching methods, but no matter which hatching method is used, two problems must be paid attention to, because from an egg to a chicken, it is a It is a very complicated process, and people are always involved in this process, so it is necessary to check carefully to ensure the smooth and healthy incubation of chicks. There are two factors.
Two major factors for chick hatching
1. External factors, mainly including the selection of eggs, disinfection, and temperature control of the incubation room, ventilation, etc., are attributed to external factors, external factors are artificially controlled, and basic conditions can be achieved artificially. But be careful and responsible!
2. There is actually only one internal factor, and that is the quality of the eggs. If it is a rotten egg, it is basically impossible to hatch chicks. Here we recommend everyone to use the elimination method. Don’t pick inferior quality, only high quality, you can’t go It is your responsibility to make an egg grow up healthy, and of course they will give you back!
Five essential conditions for chick hatching
1. Temperature control
This is a very, very important link, which will directly affect the hatching of chicks. We should also pay attention to seasonal temperature changes and adjust the hatching temperature appropriately. The hatching temperature is generally between 37 degrees and 39 degrees, and the change should not be too large. To maintain the minimum 0.3 degrees, the maximum change of 0.5 degrees.
2. Humidity control
Humidity will directly affect the weight gain and hair growth of chicks. In the early stage of incubation, it is usually about six days. At this time, the humidity should be controlled at about 60%. In the middle of incubation, that is, in the next two weeks, the humidity will be reduced. To reduce it, the general humidity should be kept at 55%. The humidity in the later stage of incubation is more important. At this time, in order to prevent the chicks from sticking to the shell, the humidity should be increased accordingly. The humidity of 70% is the most suitable.
3. Ventilation control
A good ventilation will directly affect the development of chick embryos. The law is the same as humidity control. If the humidity is adjusted, the corresponding ventilation should also be adjusted.
4. Egg-turning rule
The purpose of turning the eggs is only one, that is, to package the integrity of the embryonic development of the chicks. Taking our breeding base as an example, the eggs are basically turned once every three to four hours. (When the machine hatches, the egg turning time should be advanced, about an hour or so.)
5. Cold egg control
This is actually an external stimulation method. By stimulating the embryo in the egg, it strives to enhance its ability to adapt to the external temperature. This is also a work that must be done!
