Turning the egg Turning the egg is one of the indispensable conditions for the normal development of the embryo.
egg flipping To explain that it can make the eggs change position and receive temperature evenly,
prevent the embryo from adhering to the shell membrane, promote the movement of the embryo,
and ensure the normal position of the fetus. Another report pointed out that the role of egg turning on embryonic development
and physiology is to maintain the normal orientation of the extraembryonic sac (allantoic sac, amniotic sac, protein sac and yolk sac)
and the water balance of the embryo, which is beneficial to the growth and development of the extraembryonic sac.
Absorption of embryonic nutrients. Not turning the eggs limits embryo absorption and stunts growth. Incubation 3-7 days is a critical time for egg turning.
During the incubation period, the eggs are generally turned once every 2 hours, from the start of hatching to the end of the tray. At present,
large-scale incubators have automatic egg-turning devices, which rotate the eggs 45° each time.
When using my country’s artificial hatching method to hatch eggs, kang hatching is to achieve the purpose of even temperature and egg turning by adjusting the plate up and down,
back and forth, and turning the eggs. Generally, the eggs are turned 4 or 6 times a day. When hatching in a flat box,
turning the eggs is carried out in combination with adjusting the sieve. When the incubation temperature is normal,
turn the sieve once every half an hour (180°), adjust the sieve once every 1 hour, and turn the eggs once every 6 hours.
In short, the time and frequency of egg turning are mainly determined by the temperature. The principle is that the temperature exceeds the standard,
and the egg turning should be carried out when the temperature difference between the eggs is large. Swap the eggs in the high temperature and low temperature positions,
on the one hand, the eggs are evenly heated, and the purpose of turning the eggs can be achieved.
There are many more conditions, see the next article.
